.The ISMIR 2004 Genre Classification dataset

The position of 200 clusters computed from the ISMIR 2004 Music Genre Classification dataset in a 12-dimensional space. Each cluster is colored after the most represented class in the cluster. The brightness represent how «pure» a cluster is (if only one class is represented it will have full brightness). The colors are: Classical: red, Electronic: green, JazzBlues: blue, MetalPunk: yellow, RockPop: magenta, World: cyan.

The interesting part is that a correct classification rate of 82% is obtained on the test set.
